Diesel & Petrol Mechanics – Netherlands
We are recruiting on behalf of our client for qualified Diesel and Petrol Mechanics to join a professional service team in the Netherlands. The position involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining petrol and diesel vehicles and machinery.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on petrol and diesel vehicles and equipment
- Inspect and troubleshoot mechanical issues involving engines, transmissions, and electrical systems
- Conduct preventative maintenance to ensure vehicles meet safety and performance standards
- Carry out on-site repairs at customer locations when required
- Complete repair work accurately and efficiently
- Collaborate with other technicians to diagnose complex mechanical faults
- Communicate clearly with customers regarding repairs and service progress
- Document all maintenance and repair work according to company standards
Experience and Qualifications
- Red Seal certification or equivalent in Diesel or Petrol Mechanics
- Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role
- Knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems is advantageous
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to learn new mechanical technologies
- Ability to perform breakdown and field service repairs
- Valid driver's license required
- Fluency in Afrikaans and English required, Dutch is beneficial
